Beatles Boxed Set

Just got hold of the rather tasty Beatles boxed set: "The Beatles Collection".  Bought it via a buy, swap or sell site for $100, what a bargain!

The original version of this box set, which came out in 1978, had a distinctive flip top lid and contained all 12 of the "official" Beatles albums released up till that time plus the "Rarities" album.  Interestingly "Magical Mystery Tour" was not included as it was not regarded as part of the official cannon at the time.

The version I've got is the '79 release and has a lift off top but is identical to the '78 release in all other respects.

Oh, by the way, the box (just the box) retails for $20!
